Welcome to SIGO
The Self Insurers’ Group of Ohio (SIGO) is a professional
association of self-insured employers, workers’ compensation administrators
and associated agencies serving Northeast Ohio.
SIGO was founded to provide a forum to help in the development and growth of
its Northeast Ohio members’ self-insured programs. Monthly meetings,
annual workshops and conferences provide ongoing education about best administrative
practices, specific health topics and the changing federal and state laws that
affect self-insuring employers.
Our membership consists of any person, firm or corporation, which has been granted the privilege to self insure its liability or obligations under the Ohio Workers' Compensation law. Our associate membership consists of attorneys who regularly and exclusively represent employers on Workers' Compensation matters, third party claim administrators, rehabilitation companies and investigative companies. Membership is open to those who fall into one of the above-mentioned categories.
